Auto-completion in Terminal

Hi,
I successfully installed Debian Buster on the VM.
Then I put in the Gues Additions CD in, open the Terminal, became root and
tried to do

[code]
./VBox
[/code]

and then I pressed TAB, but nothing happened.

What is going on?
