Not really, I'm afraid. RFC822 doesn't have it on attachments and mime (yet). So your mail -s "My backup" [EMAIL PROTECTED] < backupfile necessarily ends that file up in the message body. And 'mail' is just a frontend to the Mail Transfer Agent; e.g. sendmail. In order to help you further, you better specify more details.
