Hello,
I'm still a little greenish around the gills with respect to the way debian does things ...
~ > dpkg -c hylafax-server_4.1.8-1_i386.deb | grep pcf
-rw-r--r-- root/root 14072 1998-10-12 10:47:48 ./etc/hylafax/lutRS18.pcf
~ > sudo dpkg -i hylafax-server_4.1.8-1_i386.deb Selecting previously deselected package hylafax-server. (Reading database ... 44394 files and directories currently installed.) Unpacking hylafax-server (from hylafax-server_4.1.8-1_i386.deb) ... Setting up hylafax-server (4.1.8-1) ...
~ > sudo find /etc -name lutRS18.pcf ~ >
~ > sudo find /var/spool/hylafax -name lutRS18.pcf ~ >
But something just doesn't seem right about the hylafax .deb
The .pcf file is just an example. Other configuration files that should go in
/etc/hylafax (and/or /var/spool/hylafax/etc/hylafax) don't appear to get installed
either. hylafax-server_4.1.1-3_i386.deb has the same problem, though the
missing files are different.
What am I doing wrong?
