You're familiar with that one as an installer, and I presume you know that you can run a live system by booting from it. > And: > > debian-12.5.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso You can install a system from this (or rescue a broken one). You get a lot more packages available from it than from, say, the netinst installer. But it doesn't enable you to run a full system from it. Cheers, David.
