Hello, Firefox (and thunderbird, as well) seems to be pausing all network activity when doing a vt-switch or user-switching or locking the screen. The effect of this is that ongoing downloads freeze and are resumed (sometimes fail) only after unlocking the screen.
Chromium, on the other hand appears not to suffer from this issue and the download progresses during screen lock / vt-switch. Is there some way to make firefox / thunderbird also continue in the background while the screen is locked? Any input regarding how to go about diagnosing this issue will also be helpful. My present setup is firefox 115.15.0esr on Debian 11.7. Thanks.
