According to that page, WD and WD_BLACK brand color drives have the firmware installed at the factory. Any update for WD brand color hard (HDD) drives will come through the Dashboard installed on Windows. Which, of course, does me no good. The fwupd web site is ambiguous about how much WD is contributing to fwupd. I'll see what the next run produces.
