Hi Mike, The maximum supported is probably the maximum supported by the Linux kernel. That's theoretically several exabytes [EB] - practically, the ceiling is what a motherboard will support / how much you want to spend. [Some workstations might take more than 1TB of memory - but the cost of the memory and its specialist nature makes this pretty much out of the reach of anybody just using a computer day to day for ordinary tasks].
