Another thing: Xemacs has basically been abandonware for well over 10 years, with, as far as I can tell from a few minutes of checking (so I may be wrong), only one update, and that was this January as a bugfix. This is regrettable, but for the past 15+ years, GNU Emacs has been, in my humble opinion, much better at the things XEmacs used to be good at. That said, I suppose that the Debian maintainer of XEmacs would be happy to accept volunteer effort. -- Jan
