Brilliant - thank you. I was with my friend this afternoon and downloaded the tarball that he gives to my laptop. It all worked easily & very well. This was the show blocker on moving her to Linux. My next step is to loan her a laptop with Linux Mint installed, do a little teaching and hand holding, so that she can verify that she can do everything that she needs to do -- then wipe her machine & install Linux She is running MS Windows 10, complaining that all her techie friends will have nothing to do with it and tell her to upgrade to Linux. https://tech.leeporte.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/dell-1320c-linux.tar.gz -- Alain Williams Linux/GNU Consultant - Mail systems, Web sites, Networking, Programmer, IT Lecturer. +44 (0) 787 668 0256 https://www.phcomp.co.uk/ Parliament Hill Computers.
