(I can't believe I'm asking this) How does one edit files in Okteta? I can open files, look at files, find the byte that I want to change, but I can't change it. In insert mode, the only working keys are backspace and delete, so I can destroy files with Okteta no problem. In overwrite mode, which is what I want, delete and backspace only move the cursor without changing anything.
Apparently I'm the only person in history who can't use Okteta. The official handbook says "Just use the software, idiot," and there's nothing remotely resembling this issue in my online searches, which is how I end up bothering you. Yes, I have read-write permissions on my computer, sudo, and my hard-drive has no SMART warnings, etc.
