For the sake of mercy, could people refrain from suggesting random changes to random config files? The default gai.conf is absolutely fine on all computers without IPv6 except Vincent's. If Vincent had changed it, then reverting it back to the default might help. But Vincent says he did not change it, moving it away from the default will only put him deeper into the hole of broken configuration. Regards, -- Nicolas George
