I was thinking the same thing. Sort of like saying, "Hey, I just got
a new car. Never had a car before. Dare me to drive?"



I understand what Pedro is saying, and I agree with the idea of "doing now and learning later" in some cases. This allows a person to get a success under their belt, and helps them to be motivated to continue.


And that's the way a lot of my generation learned to drive; Dad plopped us down in his lap as four-year olds and let us take the wheel. Of course we weren't very successful, so Dad had to keep his hands real close to the wheel, but the principle worked; I "drove" without knowing anything about driving a car except for seeing drivers move the steering wheel back and forth. By the time I was ten, I was driving the car on my own in certain situations.
