Thanks, here's an example:

1000 ABCD
 100 CABD

10:1 supermajority.

Using the Smith/Condorcet method:

1000:100 B:C
110:0 A:B
100:100 C:A

A wins, my hypothesis was wrong.

I'll need to think about this a bit more.
