More generally, what you're advocating seems to be in direct conflict with clause 8 of the DFSG.
The DFSG apply to the software, not the project, Chewbacca. The "contradiction" already exists, as far as it would if Suffield's drop GR passes.
But maybe I don't properly understand what you're advocating.
I think you understand and are acting in this discussion like the man who answers "the sky is blue" with "If that's what you think, then fine. However, I like pasta". While the statement may be true, it has *nothing* to do with what went before.
