Isn't this discussion a waste of time? Shouldn't we be dealing with more important things wrt to debian? (we all know that the logo is not *the* most important part in a distro, esp. when debian doesn't pay much attention to marketing as the rest commercial distros do) Personally, I never spend more time than a second or two in a logo, and believe it or not, it has never made me think favourably or non-favourably about a product -unless of course it's a work of art in itself. And I *really* doubt if anyone chose Debian over it's logo. "Don't judge by the looks says it all". Let's drop this whole conversation and proceed. The vote itself will render this whole deal a good or bad choice.
