I'm not one of the release managers nor am I a glibc maintainer, so I don't think that would be an appropriate action for me to take. I've just been following the bug for a few years. Since it's now in the process of hopefully being finally resolved, leaving it at RC status has probably had a positive effect on getting it taken care of (although I don't know if the severity of the problem warranted that). > What I currently see is several RC bugs about DFSG issues, and lots of > people arguing that we need a GR to release with one set, but not for > the other. This is exactly why I believe I'll be supporting the resolution that delegates this decision to the release team. -- Russ Allbery ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
