Hi Sruthi,

DPL is a powerful position with little oversight or appeal short of a GR.
Many DDs are earning money in the Debian ecosystem, and there are
potential conflict of interest issues when a boss or customer asks
a DD to do something in Debian and the DD happens to be DPL.

There should be transparency about such issues, so that voters can take
them into account.

Questions:

1. How much of your income during the past 12 months was related to
Debian, and what kind of work?[1]

[if there was a non-zero income in question 1]
2. If elected, do you plan to continue this Debian-related paid work
during your term as DPL?

[if the answer to 2. was yes]
3. How do you plan to deal with conflict of interest issues between your
paid work and your powers as DPL?

Thanks
Adrian

[1] Notes for 1.:
- This is not asking about income amounts, percentages would be preferable.
"around 30% of the work for my employer was porting Debian to
embedded hw for various customers" would be an example of a good answer.
- This is asking about financial dependency issues, e.g. an invitation
to a conference with travel costs paid would not be relevant.
