There seems to be at least 3 people interested in maintaining this: Ben, Guido and Eric. I suggest to create a tomboy project on Alioth, and then comaintain with it. svn-buildpackage is a really nice tool I suggest to look into for the task. If you need help with Alioth, I can show you how to setup svn commit notification e-mails and an upload queue for a separate repository.
