Please hold off for a little bit in discussing this approach.  I owe you
mail about this whole situation and I think we can work it out without
needing to either orphan or remove the package.  I believe that the new
upstream release which was in preparation should go into squeeze.

I'm sorry that it's Wednesday and I've not yet written the message that I
promised to write Sunday night about this.  I've been deluged with work
since I got back from DebConf and can only plead lack of time.

I will try to finish that e-mail message within the next hour.
