Hi all, I've browsed all the source and this driver is DFSG-free, however, this cannot be done currently. It's because our kernel in unstable is 2.6.32, in which we don't have msm framebuffer driver.
So, when trying to build this driver in armel environment, we'll get msm.h:45:27: error: linux/msm_mdp.h: No such file or directory msm-driver.c: In function 'MSMPreInit': msm-driver.c:398: error: 'MSMFB_RESUME_SW_REFRESHER' undeclared (first use in this function) msm-driver.c:398: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once msm-driver.c:398: error: for each function it appears in.) msm-driver.c:599: error: 'MDP_FB_PAGE_PROTECTION_WRITETHROUGHCACHE' undeclared (first use in this function) msm driver is in Android and staging kernel tree. We have to wait for the driver go into the upstream and/or our kernel first so let's postpone this for a while. Many Thanks, Paul -
