    Cairo-based engine
    Color managment
    Universal CDR importer (7-X3 versions)
Modern Ttk based (former Tile widgets) user interface

-----

note that upstream appears to have some sort of packages made for
"ubuntu" already, so maybe that's a start?

http://www.sk1project.org/modules.php?name=Products&product=sk1&op=download

They seem to be generated via some sort of python script in the
source, running "python setup bdist_deb", at least for the sk1libs
package.

Anyway, it'd be nice to have this available in debian, if someone
thinks the packaging looks feasible and is willing to maintain it.
