Package: wnpp Severity: normal Hello,
Due to changing personal circumstances I have found that I am struggling to give dar the time it deserves. Generally speaking dar doesn't require much time. Last I checked it fails to build from source, due to a bug in another package #632889 and this is blocking a number of other easy to fix bugs, e.g. #637991 #637997 #638017 #639206 #639417. So fixing dar may require a NMU of libgpg-error-dev. Or an executive decision to drop support for dar-static. Upstream is responsive to all feedback.
