That's understandable. Besides, even in Gentoo community, there is voice doubting if OpenRC suits Gentoo. Debian is about the freedom to choose. I am aware of systemd, upstart, and our good plain sysv-rc as well as file-rc. People in the last thread already debated about which is the best for Debian. Personally I like the unix way[1] of OpenRC to do things, and I want to let people understand my opinion by inviting Debian users to use, evaluate and criticize it. Cool jobs are done in Redhat community/enterprise, in Ubuntu community/enterprise. Thanks to them we have many choices to suit our needs. OpenRC from Gentoo community would like also serve as your choice, with a different styple: just do one thing and do it right, not about revolution to blow your mind. Thanks Marco d'Itri, I have carefully reflected whether introducing OpenRC to Debian really worth my time and effort. And I decided to do so.
