Only you can say if it's enough for your use case. Once kernel.modules_disabled=1, userland can't insert or remove modules from the kernel anymore, but the object file will still be present on the filesystem. > > Please give some insight if its okay to discuss. I think it's irrelevant to this bug. I'm trying very hard *not* to modify the kernel configuration from the standard linux kernel. If you need more customization, rebuild your own kernels, it's really easy (you can see my Kernel Recipes presentation [1]).
