Hi, On closer examination of gclipboard, I have concluded that the GNOME 2 desktop environment in the Debian GNU/Linux distribution would perhaps be better served by the GNOME Clipboard Manager [1]. To interact with Mozilla, Openoffice, and QT, they would need to be recompiled with patches as provided in the gclipboard tarball - a process far too bureacraticly complex for me to follow through with.
