I think you should read what was said about the name ion-devel. Ion-devel is a *RELEASE*. We only want this package appears in the Sid. What's more a devel package is IMHO targetted to be the future stable version. What's more ion and ion-devel are completely different and a Woody user can have the choice to try this version.
