Mattermost is self-hosted team communication service bringing messaging and file sharing into one place, accessible across PCs and phones, with archiving and search. Mattermost is an open source, self-hosted Slack-alternative. It's features rival Slack features, it's compatible with existing Slack integrations, and one can even import users and channel history from existing Slack teams. Slack seems to be all the rage these days. It would be nice if we could offer a similar solution within Debian and thereby also support the FOSS alternative.
