Hard to say, neither has had a release since xdg-app's privileged part became bubblewrap. I'll probably start by leaving it using a private copy of bwrap (it's a git submodule), and send patches upstream to be able to use a system copy when it's a bit clearer that that's going to work in practice. You're welcome to co-maintain xdg-app, just add yourself to Uploaders (it's in collab-maint git). I'm hoping to put a first version packaged as flatpak into NEW somewhat soon. It would be great if you could put the bubblewrap packaging on git.debian.org or something. S
