Feature-wise, I think they're pretty close, though Opie has added a few new things and continues to merge in Qtopia improvements. Based on my experience with the Zaurus, OpenZaurus is the best of breed project, and it is based on opie. Opie development is generally more open; it's much easier to get patches in. So, I'd vote for Opie given a choice. The packaging may or may not be similar, now that opie's build system has changed, so if you want to continue working on qtopia, it might not be much of a duplication of effort for me to try my hand at opie. -- - mdz
