From memory and looking at the file here, I think the issue is
that Dmitry claimed java-diff-utils is all apache2, but it was forked
after Juancarlo had changed the license from apache 1.1 to
lgpl2.1. Dmitry can't just change this unilaterally (from either
apache or from lgpl2.1). So for the code that is defo as-is (the myers
stuff) that's still LGPL2.1.

I found the original mail thread and will forward it in a
mo. Juancarlos suggested that I just use his (jrcs) version because
the licencing on that was clear, but that didn't suit upstream. Dmitry
only replied once to say that he'd derived from the LGPL version in
2010, but if that's true then the headers on his release are all
wrong. I don't know if he's fixed that since 2013.
