Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2003-01-29 Severity: normal I intend to orphan the gtick package. The package description is: gtick is a small metronome app that uses the GTK widgets. It outputs to /dev/dsp and features a scale from 30 beats per minute to 250 BPM and 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 time.
Upstream is dead, the package contains some bugs, which makes it not very useful, there are other packages (i.e. freebirth) which do the task Metronome better. I just uploaded the package with Maintainer QA. I suggest to remove the package from the distribution if no one takes it over in the next few weeks.
