Each node is drawn as an ellipse, and each connection is drawn as an arrow. The node placement is a result of all of the nodes moving away from each other, while all nodes which are connected move toward each other. This movement is repeated until it stabilizes. Comment: A free replacment for the non-free graph-rendering package graphviz would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, springgraph is not (yet ?) a drop-in replacement for graphviz. Still, it can be useful for certain applications. One of the applications mentioned on springgraph home page, for instance, is visualisation of the debian keyring (though I didn't yet check for myself). -Ralf. -- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 155662-done) by bugs.debian.org; 28 Feb 2003 19:18:29 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Feb 28 13:18:28 2003 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from relay-1v.club-internet.fr [194.158.96.112] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 18oq1b-00075L-00; Fri, 28 Feb 2003 13:18:27 -0600 Received: from localhost (f17m-12-108.d1.club-internet.fr [212.195.135.108]) by relay-1v.club-internet.fr (Postfix) with ESMTP id 44B7B1701 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Fri, 28 Feb 2003 20:17:25 +0100 (CET) Received: from rt by localhost with local (Exim 3.36 #1 (Debian)) id 18oq1Y-0000NE-00 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Fri, 28 Feb 2003 20:18:24 +0100 Date: Fri, 28 Feb 2003 20:18:24 +0100 From: Ralf Treinen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: uploaded Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.3i Sender: Ralf Treinen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-0.9 required=4.0 tests=SPAM_PHRASE_00_01,USER_AGENT,USER_AGENT_MUTT version=2.44 X-Spam-Level: A springgraph package has recently been uploaded by Kevin Rosenberg. --
