Package: wnpp Version: N/A Priority: normal I have just uploaded and orphaned log_analysis, after closing the open bug reports and upgrading to the latest upstream release. I'm unable to maintain it and I believe someone else should take better care of it, if appropiate.
Log_analysis functions are done already by 'logcheck' and the latest has a better and more uptodate list of signatures in logs. Also, some other of its functions (wtmp analysis) are implemented by sac too. However, some of its features (configurable log tests) are not present in other software. If someone should take over he should cooperate with upstream to make it easier to integrate with the log patterns database provided by logcheck. Regards Javier Fernandez-Sanguino
