Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2003-03-14 Severity: wishlist * Package name : libunwind Version : 1.0 Upstream Author : David Mosberger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://www.hpl.hp.com/research/linux/libunwind/ * License : MIT open source Description : A library to determine the call-chain of a program
>From the project description: The primary goal of this project is to define a portable and efficient C programming interface (API) to determine the call-chain of a program. The API additionally provides the means to manipulate the preserved (callee-saved) state of each call-frame and to resume execution at any point in the call-chain (non-local goto). The API supports both local (same-process) and remote (across-process) operation. As such, the API is useful in a number of applications. Additional information: - Only the IA-64 architecture is currently supported. But it is not excluded to support other arches like alpha and i386 in the future. - The latest release is 0.9 and is a preversion of the 1.0 I intend to package. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux charrue.esiee.fr 2.4.20-ac2 #2 Wed Jan 29 15:26:43 CET 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C
