Control: close 890915 As suggested in the "Debian New Maintainers' Guide", the upstream was asked how they feel regarding Debian Packaging. Although the response was polite and quick, it was a clear refusal to participate or help[2].
I'm closing this ITP but it should also be noted that another upstream for the same code base exist and is amicable[3]. It could be a viable alternative in the future.
