Hello, After being a long time user of the "karm" time tracker, I have just found gnotime, and managed to compile on Debian. IMO, it has a number of features that make it a better choice over KArm, plus it has a smaller footprint.
I'm interested in seeing this appear as a Debian package and am willing to help to make that happen. I started working on packaging it today wih the "New Maintainer's" guide in hand, but I quickly got the sense this might take more time than I had to give on a Sunday afternoon. I also found this "Debian Gnome Packaging Policy" document [1], although it's not an official Debian website. Should this document be followed as well? 1. http://www.burtonini.com/computing/gnome-policy.html Is there another stand-alone Gnome application that would be recommended as a starting point? Thanks!
