Statements of intent are insufficient reason for keeping buggy packages
in testing at this point; particularly in this case, where there have
been fruitless assurances from the maintainer in the past.  The package
would remain in unstable, however, and if it's well-maintained going
forward, it should have an opportunity to get back into testing once
glibc is fixed.
