Just to note: AFAIK all Debian packages that currently use the "pd-" prefix belong to the "pure-data" universe, just like Python packages have a "python-" prefix. There is no formal "reservation" of that namespace, but I would expect quite some confusion if there are a few totally unrelated packages using the same naming scheme.
