Was facing issues with debian build not succeeding. That led to two PRs in the upstream repo. But once those were merged I didn't get a chance to try this again. I think with the latest version from upstream it would be easier to get the debian package working. As of now I'm finding it hard to find time for this. So, if anyone else wants to work on this, please feel free to!
