neither Tino nor myself can veto your project being included into Debian. That being said, you need to find a sponsor who has permission to upload this into Debian unstable and who thinks that doing so is a good idea. Once you have that, the only people who really can veto your package are ftp-master and maybe the release team. I cannot speak for either of those two teams. But that being said, I do agree with Tino that including this package into Debian would be a bad idea. In my opinion, it is bad software engineering to add a new tool for something that is literally just a shell pipeline involving two processes and nothing else. What I want to bring across with my message is, that you might want to reconsider investing energy into getting this into Debian as I think it is quite likely that you will face more resistance than just from Tino and myself further down that road.
