Sure. No argument here. There is, however, the meta-question of how much TLA expansion/definition does one want to do. At the extreme, that would have us carrying around a duplicate of the full jargon dictionary in debian package descriptions (which we _could_ agree is just fine). Then, of course, there's the inevitable argument about the definition of GIS itself. (and no, I'm not trying to start it because I have no GIS qualifications) -g
