Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name : libical Version : x.y.z * URL : http://www.softwarestudio.org/libical/ * License : (GPL, LGPL, BSD, MIT/X, etc.) Description : implementation of the IETF's iCalendar Calendaring and Scheduling protocols
Libical is an Open Source implementation of the IETF's iCalendar Calendaring and Scheduling protocols. (RFC 2445, 2446, and 2447). It parses iCal components and provides a C API for manipulating the component properties, parameters, and subcomponents. http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeassociation/ I want this library for this reason: Already-packaged software called gnokii could be compiled with it. Here is quote from its INSTALL-file: "libical support: libical-0.24, you may want to use gnokii internal iCal implementation but it is limited, no longer developed and deprecated. This is only for converting calendar and todo entries into iCal files and reading such files." I really want to be able to read iCal-calendar from my GSM and write it to GSM. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (99, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Juhapekka "naula" Tolvanen * * http colon slash slash iki dot fi slash juhtolv "kummaan paikkaan itsesi karkotit, syyttä syyllisten seuduille. raskaisiin taloihin pesit, kirkuviin huoneisiin. mitä ne sinulle tekevät siellä? kuka on raapinut nimesi pois, nimesi, kasvosi, mielesi oivat palvelemaan konetta?"
