App::Packager provides an abstract interface to a number of common packagers,
trying to catch as much common behaviour as possible. The main purpose is to
have uniform access to application specific resources. Supported packagers are
PAR::Packer, Cava::Packager and unpackaged. In the latter case, the packager
functions are emulated via Cava::Packager which provides fallback for
unpackaged use.
Version 2.05.1 of the eekboek package, which I am currently packaging,
(build)depends upon libperl-app-packager . There has been no upstream work on
App::Packager since Aug 2023. It would be cool if the packaging of
libperl-app-packager could be done within the
https://salsa.debian.org/perl-team framework.
