Package: wnpp Severity: normal I don't have sufficient resources at home to be able to adequately test printing issues with lprngtool. Ideally, this needs to be maintained by someone with access to at least one natively accessible parallel (or probably USB) printer, and preferably also a printer accessible via Windows (to test printing via Samba).
As I have neither at home, and I'm no longer working, so don't have access to one at work, this is making maintaining this package rather difficult. The other issue is that upstream might as well be dead. They haven't released a new version in over 2 years, and aren't terribly responsive. There are interoperability issues between lprngtool and more modern versions of packages such as Samba. I will continue maintaining lprngtool to the best of my abilities, but someone meeting the above criteria could do a better job. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.25-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C
