I know it's not much, but I'll pay twenty bucks US to the person who packages eman. Payment will be sent to whoever's name is in the maintainer field when I can apt-get it from Sid. Offer is good until Dec 31, 2004. Please remember to file an ITP, so as to not create confusion or duplicated work.
