It wasn't too big a poke - as you mentioned, it was a dead simple package for me to "cut my teeth on", as well as being an app that I reguarly use.
Thanks for your work. James On 6/12/06, Leo Antunes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I didn't take a look at you package, but I'm taking this mail as a poke about "why the hell isn't this in Debian yet" :-) The package I created is at http://people.debian.org/~costela/index.php?page=packages.php and I imagine it's not very different from yours, given the simplicity of the package. Just to keep the situation updated in the bug-log, Transmission didn't enter the archive yet only because of some licence issues: there are files in the package with different licences and I'm trying to find the best way to deal with this. Hopefully that'll happen soon enough. Cheers, thanks for the packaging and the indirect "poke" On Sun, 2006-06-11 at 02:32 +1000, James Healy wrote: > In attempt to learn how to create a debian package I've created some > packages for transmission v0.5. > > I've found them useful - hopefully others might as well. > > http://gir.deefa.com/debian/transmission/ > > James Healy > -- Leo Antunes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
