* Package name : gpscorrelate Version : 1.4.0 Upstream Author : Daniel Foote <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://freefoote.dview.net/linux_gpscorr.html * License : GPL Programming Lang: C, C++ Description : correlates digital photos with GPS data filling EXIF fields gpscorrelate fills EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) fields of digital photos related to GPS (Global Positioning System) information (e.g.: GPSLatitude, GPSLongitude, GPSAltitude, ...). The act of filling those field is referred to as "correlation". . Inputs of the correlation process are a set of JPEG images and GPS data encoded in GPX (GPS Exchange Format) format. . If GPS data are available for the precise moment (with a 1 second granularity) the photo as been taken the GPS data are stored unmodified in EXIF fields. If they are not, linear interpolation of GPS data available for moments before and after the photo has been taken can be used. . Both a command line tool (gpscorrelate) and a GTK+ graphical user interface for it (gpscorrelate-gui) are provided. Review of the above descriptions by some native english speaker would be greatly appreciated :-) Cheers. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
