This package uses an upstreamer shared library to parse config files, this library is not available on debian, btw, it seens there is a library that should work almost as the one that this package need, but, I'll need time to change the upstream source to complain with debian. hence there is no intention to changing the upstream source and I don't have enought time to do upstream work on this, so I'm colsing this bug.
