How does this compare with the various JSON-related modules in Perl?
JSON is a subset of javascript for easy parsing. So sometimes you might have to adjust your perl data structures to turn them into JSON. Data::Javascript translates any valid perl (including circular references) at the cost of extra verbosity. I should add this to the description don't you think?
Of course, if this is a prerequisite for libcgi-application-plugins-perl, I don't have much to say :)
I don't know if the DBIProfile plugin really needs all the power of Data::Javascript. I'll ask the author if he can use JSON instead. -- Jaldhar H.
