Well, I can't guarantee that I can give this package all the attention that it needs, but it should be better than no maintainer. I have prepared a package (*VERY* lightly tested, so beware!) that should fix #241884 and #342136, plus some other cleanups. And I hope to address #221064, #221077 and #289323, once I getopt-ify the scripts.
